Please read these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) carefully before using the ACTICS website and community platform (“Service”), operated by [Insert Legal Entity Name, e.g., ACTICS Social Movement] (“ACTICS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 Eligibility
The Service is intended for Nigerian citizens and residents. You must be at least 18 years old or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet all of the foregoing eligibility requirements.
1.2 Purpose of Service
ACTICS is a social community and movement focused on responsible citizenship in Nigeria. The Service provides a platform for interaction, education, advocacy, and fundraising to support ACTICS’ mission, vision, and programs.
2. Membership and Subscription Structure
ACTICS offers four levels of membership, each providing different levels of participation and benefits.
2.1 Free Membership: The Responsible Citizens
- Purpose: Designated for all Nigerians committed to being responsible citizens of their country.
- Cost: Free of charge.
- Access: Grants access to the core ACTICS social community area and basic content.
2.2 Paid Membership Tiers
The following three tiers require a recurring subscription fee, the purpose of which is to raise funds for the social movement:

2.3 Payments, Billing, and Cancellation
- Voluntary Upgrade: Users may voluntarily decide to subscribe or upgrade their membership at any time.
- Recurring Billing: Subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. By subscribing, you authorize ACTICS (or its third-party payment processor) to charge your payment method the recurring fee.
- Automatic Renewal: All paid subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- No Refunds: Subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel, you will retain access to your paid membership benefits until the end of your current billing cycle.
3. Community and User Conduct
The Service includes social areas for member interaction. All members must adhere to these rules of conduct:
- Lawful Use: You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict, or inhibit anyone else’s use and enjoyment of the Service.
- Respectful Interaction: You must not post, upload, or transmit content that is threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, abusive, harassing, hateful, or constitutes hate speech.
- No Spam or Solicitation: You shall not use the social community to post unsolicited or unauthorized advertising, promotional materials, or any other form of commercial solicitation, except where directly related to the ACTICS affiliate program and conducted appropriately.
- Prohibited Content: Content promoting violence, illegal activities, or advocating for the overthrow of the Nigerian government by illegal means is strictly prohibited.
- Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Service and for any activities or actions under your password.
4. ACTICS Affiliate Marketing Program
Paid members are automatically enrolled in the Affiliate Marketing program to compensate them for promoting ACTICS and inviting others to join and upgrade their membership.
4.1 Commission Structure
Affiliate commissions are earned when an individual you referred subscribes to a paid membership. The commission rate is tiered based on your own current paid membership level:

4.2 Affiliate Terms
- Legitimacy: Commissions are only paid on successful and confirmed subscriptions that remain active beyond a 30-day verification period.
- Self-Referral: You may not earn a commission on your own account upgrade or subscription.
- Payment: Commissions will be paid monthly, subject to a minimum payout threshold of ₦10,000. Payments will be processed via [Specify payment method, e.g., bank transfer to a Nigerian bank account].
- Taxes: You are solely responsible for calculating and paying all taxes associated with commissions received from ACTICS, including but not limited to income tax in Nigeria. ACTICS will not withhold or pay any taxes on your behalf.
- Compliance: ACTICS reserves the right to suspend or terminate affiliate status and withhold payments for any activity deemed fraudulent, deceptive, or in violation of these Terms.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1 ACTICS Content
All intellectual property rights in the Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of ACTICS and its licensors.
5.2 User Content
You retain all ownership rights in the content you submit, post, or display on or through the Service (“User Content”). By submitting User Content, you grant ACTICS a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license to use, reproduce, display, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.
6. Termination and Suspension
6.1 Termination by You
You may terminate your free or paid membership at any time through your account settings.
6.2 Termination by ACTICS
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Grounds for termination or suspension include:
- Violation of the Community and User Conduct rules (Section 3).
- Non-payment of subscription fees.
- Fraudulent activity within the Affiliate Program.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. ACTICS makes no guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. ACTICS and its subsidiaries, affiliates, and licensors do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that the results of using the Service will meet your expectations.
8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall ACTICS, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the Service; (iii) any content obtained from the Service; and (iv) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort (including negligence) or any other legal theory, whether or not we have been informed of the possibility of such damage.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of The Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
10. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
